FAISALABAD: A man, who uploaded pictures of weapons and videos of himself firing in the air, was apprehended on Friday, police officials reported.
The person is identified as Jamal Handal and is a resident of Mansoorabad, Faisalabad. He had uploaded the pictures and videos on the social networking site and they went viral soon after.
The authorities took notice of Handal’s Facebook posts and CPO Faisalabad Ashfaq Khan had ordered his arrest.
After the orders by CPO, police officials at Mansoorabad Police Station registered a case against Handal and arrested him.
A pistol was recovered from Handal’s possession at the time of his arrest.
