LAHORE: They say, Lahore Lahore aye. No visitor to Lahore can remain obvious to its history, culture and hospitality. Shivam Vij, a noted Indian journalist based in New Delhi is visiting Lahore these days. His Twitter feed documents his wide-ranging experiences and Lahoris are loving what he has to say about their city.
Vij seems rather spellbound by all that Lahore has to offer. We wish our guest a good trip and hope he returns. In fact, journalists from both countries should be allowed to freely travel as India-Pakistan conflict has been worsened by the negative stereotypes that media on both sides propagate. It is time for a change.
On my way to Lahore museum. Careem driver wants to know if he can get back his ancestral land in India. Some 600 acres around Jaipur. “Baees gaon they hamarey,” he says.
