Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif Tuesday said that it had become difficult for him and his family to cry, let alone smile.
“What we can say about smiling… we can’t even cry if we want to,” Nawaz told reporters outside an accountability court in Islamabad.
In October this year, Nawaz was not allowed to vote in by-election after he forgot to bring his identification card along with him.
The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo had arrived only minutes before the closing of polling at the Government College of Technology on Lahore’s Rail Road with party leader Maryam Nawaz, where party supporters had gathered to welcome him. But he was not allowed to cast ballot as he could not produce his identity card.
